One of the early classical ‘aqīdah books of the Ḥanbalī tradition is Sharḥ al-Sunnah. Nowadays, the book unfortunately

has fallen victim to misinterpretation by the Salafī/wahābī sect, distorting its meanings, explaining it in a way that diverts it from the intended meaning of the author, forcing it to suit their opinions.

The explanation of Shaykh Yūsuf bin Ṣādiq is from the perspective of a traditional Ḥanbalī scholar, using their methods and findings to explain the book in a Ḥanbalī fashion, bringing the book back to the way of the Ḥanābilah.

This course is suitable for those who already followed a basic Ḥanbalī ‘aqīdah course, such Uṣūl al-Sunnah or Lum’ah al-I’tiqād and want to further their elementary/pre-intermediate knowledge in ‘aqīdah.

This course has ended, completion is through recordings.
